The G. hotel in Galway Ireland? |
I've read lots of reviews about the g. hotel in Galway and I'd like to take my girlfriend there for a few days cause I know she'll love it (the design, luxury and all).
But since I'm not from Ireland I have no idea about the location of the hotel. I've found pictures of Galway and the country is just amazing but where is the hotel? Is it in the country or in the city? I mean...when we walk out of it,will it feel like we're walking on Oxford street or something?
I tried to find pictures of the exterior of the hotel but found nothing.
Please if anyone knows I'll be grateful! |

i live in galway and i can tell you good news!! its very near the city (Eyre square) there is a bus every 15 minutes! 5-10 minute walk. its near a pub a cinema a restaurant and a couple of shops. its very luxurious there she will love it. it on the galway-Dublin road .which is quite busy.
its great there. there are better hotels in Galway i must say have a look aroud. THE GALWAY BAY HOTEL is fantasic beside the beach and all the nightlife with irish music and all.
hope i helped! |

The G hotel is located in a small shopping centre (hard to believe its a 5 star location but it is!!) across from Lough Atalia which a small sea inlet. But dont let the sea inlet carry you away because it can stink pretty bad at times!!
The hotel itself is amazing but its location near a busy road junction is unbelievably bad and I certainly wouldnt recommend it and there is talk in the location of it being closed as the business hasnt being doing too well.... |

The G Hotel is in a newly renovated area of Galway city, a five minute drive or 15 minute walk from the city centre. If you click on Hybrid on the map at the first site below you will see an aerial view of the location of the hotel.
Pan to left and you will see a retail park with the Eye Cinema on the corner of Wellpark Road and Dublin Road.
Pan Down and you come to Lough Atalie, an inlet in Galway Bay an ideal bird watching area. Pan down and left past the railway bridge over the lough and you come to Dun Aengus Dock where you can get a boat to the Aran Islands. Pan to the left of here and you will see Eyre Square in the heart of Galway city. Pan more to the left and you will see where the Corrib river enters Galway Bay. On the left of the mouth of the Corrib you will find Claddagh which was once a fishing village from where the famous Claddagh ring originates. |

the g hotel is in the suburbs of galway city in the wellpark retail park....you're not in the city centre & it's a 15 - 20 minute walk or there are loads of buses passing by it going into town....You can bring your car into Galway city centre but i wouldnt recommend it because parking is an absolute nightmare!....It's situated on the main Dublin Rd. which is the main thoroughfare into the city from the east & the south & the Monivea Rd. is beside it also which links you to the main road out of the north of the city.....
It's situated across the road from the Huntsman Inn & has views overlooking Lough Atalia - a little inlet off Galway Bay |

I cant believe this is a five star hotel, bring her to the glenlo abbey hotel in galway.
Its a five star hotel on the outskirts of the city beautiful views of the lake but still within the city limits.
You could try hotel merrik, previously known as the great southern hotel in eyre square, this is in the heart of the city its a four star but it has a pool |
