The best place to stay would be Jury's Inn or Jury's Hotel.

Hi. Good choice-you will really like it, I am sure! There are some great bars in Templebar. If you like history, go and see the Book of Kells at Trinity College and there is also Kilmainham Jail. Hope that helps.

The guiness factory, the buildings shaped as a guinness glass. there's a bar up the top and you can have soda or a guinness.
i say you should go to county clare and go to Bunratty Castle and go to the banquet. Loads of yummy medieval food, entertainment, laughs and more!

Go to St Michans off Church Street (Dublin 7) and see the mummies, very spooky. The tour guide is as mad as a brush and you can shake hands with the 300 year old mummies in the crypt. My girlfriends mother did the tour and nearly knocked a mummies hand off.

Or you can do the usual popular tourism stuff on http://www.dublinbynumbers.com/article/top-five-places-to-visit-in-dublin

how much money have you got and what are you looking for. temple bar expensive (£6 a pint) and full of tourists, won't find ireland there. guiness tour is £25 for one hour and you get a guiness at the end, don't like guiness then don't go. if you want to visit ireland go to Cork, Sligo, Galway, etc. Dublin is still the dirty old town and is one of the most expensive places in europe. i have lived here for ten years and my birthday is in February and i won't be in Dublin i can assure you.
