I have read online that alot of places close to do maintance and things like that. I also know that it is suppose to be wet and rainy and some place said snowing. So normaly what is the tempetare in Ireland around then and does it really snow in November?

Come to my 16th Birthday!!

It's really hard to predict what type of weather you can expect in Ireland in November. It will certainly be dark early, by 5 pm.

Last November was reasonably sunny, but you couldn't describe it as warm, about 7 degrees Celsius. So don't bother with the bikini, instead bring layers and good shoes, scarves, hats and maybe a rainproof jacket.

More than likely it won't snow but it will be quite cold (4-8 degrees Celsius I'd say) and rainy. Days will be short too, it would be dark at 5pm or so. Still, you can go around and see things just as you would in the summer...all the major attraction would be opened. You can check www.discoverireland.ie to see the opening times and contact details for most of the interesting things to see/do in Ireland. Just plan your trip taking into consideration earlier closing times, early sunsets and chilly weather. You can still do a lot indoor... e.g. the Guinness Factory in Dublin, the Midleton Distillery, the Waterford Crystal Factory, Kilkenny Castle, etc. And when it's dark, tuck yourself into a pub, eat and drink! That's part of the fun!

its hard to predict the weather in ireland but i wouldnt say there will be snow - it rarely snows and when it does it is very light. but bring you raincoats and umbrellas because it rains a lot here in ireland. as for the cold ... yes it will probably be cold but nothing drastic.

things to do in ireland in november ..
well in dublin, there are plenty of things to do - what ever the weather!

there is a really cool bus tour in dublin called the viking splash where the bus actually turns into a boat and goes into the water.

also .. if you are into sport you could check out croke park, home of GAA (gaelic football and hurling - google it). well worth a trip, includes a museum and guided tour of the stadium.

the guinness brewery also offers guided tours and maybe even a free sample ... :))

I don't know of anywhere that closes down. It will be wet but it hardly ever snows in Ireland and if it does it's in January.
