I think her music is really different, soulful and spirited. I wish I lived in a castle as a recluse like her too. :)

Matt G
I like her--- Erin Go Bragh!

I suppose she's alright.. she is more popular around the world than here, because we get sick of hearing the same old stuff all the time.. she is classed as world music so she appeals to a more international audience...
most people over here have more discerning tastes when it comes to Irish artists, I prefer stuff like 'republic of loose', 'the chalets' ' boss volenti', 'gemma hayes' etc etc
her family are much better in my opinion they are called 'clannad'

she is alrite.

First of all, Irish-American and Irish are two different things (to the girl above).
As for Enya, she's not nearly as good as our local pub singers, but her parents are sweet.

Polilical conundrum...
For a recluse she sings like an angel.
I'd like to hear more from her.

She's not the worst. Wouldn't buy an album of her's tho. I'd just download one or two songs for free.

Kanakalele
I am 1/2 Irish, and I think Enya is a good artisit, but all her stuff sounds the same. That's not a bad thing, the majority of all artists do not have range in their art.
