Travel to Ireland - Fishguard to Rosslare. Can you take food or household commodities.?

4 of us will be renting a cottage and want to take foodstuffs in the car as well as shampoo bath oils etc. Will there be a problem?

You should have no problems with that. You can even bring alcohol when its for your own use. Just don't bring the obvious things like fireworks, arms, drugs etc. Have a good time.

You can take most things but I think there's some restrictions on raw meat cheeses etc

If you check out the stenaline ferry site think it tells you on that even if that's not who your travelling with the same rules would apply
