Yahoo! Answers is global unless otherwise indicated. You have to specify which region of the world you want to research or see Answers from.

Hope the weather is FINE down under -

They just can't keep away from us. If americans own the world - why do they speak English and use Yahoo Uk?

answers.yahoo.com is not a UK site. It is an international site for people all over the world. Since most of the people on the internet are from US, they ask and answer most of the questions here.

I got sanctioned by some fool in there because I asked if anyone was in France in here. Yet there seem to be folk from all over the world. Which is great. Which is why I asked about France in the first place. Could've been Italy or anywhere. Does someone not like France out there? Then I read a an answer by someone who thought Ireland was a part of the UK . Geography isn't the metier of lots of folk in here. I think the UK is great, as is the US and France and the rest of the world too. Just 'cos I disagree with many aspects of countries' politics doesn't mean I don't like the countries themselves. Even the UK is torn apart by politics, but most people there are lovely.
So there.

am from uk. no idea. maybe our american cousins log onto yahoo uk too???

In case you didn't notice: There is a little bar at the lower left-hand side where you can go to "UK and Ireland questions only", or "all English questions".
Generally I don't mind the Yanks, but sometimes I wish they would refrain from answering questions they don't even understand because they know nothing about Europe, not even the English speaking part of it.

Reg Tedious
Americans own the world. It's all a big plot. They are taking over everywhere. Beware!!!!!!!!
