Vacation Help?

I'm leaving to go to Ireland, Scottland, and England on the 10th, and for right now I'm just tryingto plan out what I want to do in Ireland. I'm arriving in Shannon, driving across Ireland for 5 days, and leaving for Scottland in Dublin. Can anyone tell me the best places to stop on the way there. I'm interested in the History of Ireland, as well as beauty in the landscape. Thanks ahead of time!

You must visit the Burren(which contains unique flowers that grow nowhere else in the world)it also contains portal tombs and dolmens which were built in the stone age and are still standing today. The cliffs of moher are a must there scenic beauty is overwhelming.Visit Bunratty Castle in the midlands. Its an old castle that has been refurbished and you can freely walk around the different rooms that are decorated in medieval style. In the castle grounds there is a replica medieval village(houses, barns,animals,blacksmiths,grindingmill,w... etc)Hope i Helped!

Definitely one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland is west Cork and Kinsale also in Cork. Killarney is really lovely and Connemara. Enjoy your trip!

If you want to visit a very popular tourist attraction about the history of Ireland visit Bunratty Castle in Co. Clare near Shannon Airport and even better book a meal at one of the medieval banquets they are really impressive its like a meal in old Ireland royalty.

Bunratty Castle is a very popular tourist attraction, and located only a few miles from Shannon Airport. The interior has been furnished with tapestries and artifacts from various eras in the castle's history. Some of the sights include the great hall, dungeons and four towers with spiral stairwells. Medieval-style banquets are held twice every evening in the great hall.

Alongside the castle is an extensive folk park, particularly popular with families, tourists and schools. This features reconstructions of historical cottages and buildings, recreating the general feel of the 19th century with a period style village main street. Old tools, furniture and artefacts are displayed, with the village kept alive by some inhabited shops, an old home bakery and peat fires in cottages.
