Visiting Ireland?

Hey Guys,
My wife & I would be visiting Ireland in the last week of May.. Since its a scenic place, would love to hire a Bunk Camper (Caravan for 2) But need your suggestions on the following:
1. Is it safe to camp at camp sites
2. Dos and Donts for camping
3. Must visit places
4. Better contacts for Hiring a Caravan for 2

Or is it better to use public transport to get to places and stay in hotels :(

Ya its very safe, the gaint causeway it beauiful its up the Antrim coast, lovely drive to. the down coast is also nice we have the ulster folk pk which is great for a days outing. also saint patrick wells in downpatrick.
there is a lot of caravan pk both on the Antrim coast and the down coast hope you injoy.

Camping in Ireland is grand but a lot of Irish people prefer to do the camping in England such as Graham Norton and Brian Dowling.

Public transport is shocking altogether.

I think camping would be good but don't expect the weather to be good! DONT FORGET some rain gear! Enjoy :)

There's a very good camping area outside Larne called Carnfunnock. Sure Ireland is safe for camping. Also plenty of camps around north coast and down around the Wicklow Hills.

you probably shouldnt rely only on public transport - its mostly centred around dublin and other cities. theres a lot of campsites and they're mostly safe. cork, kerry, galway, the giants causeway, newgrange, they're all good places to visit. some of the campsites might be a bit away from a town, especially if you're in a rural area, so you should bring some food and drinks just in case.
