There are many large colleges in Ireland..
the one in the city centre is Trinity college..but UCD and DCU would also be large colleges..
Outside Dublin the main ones are
NUI Galway
UCC, Cork
UL limerick

Most definitely, it has to be Trinity College. I have spent many a lazy afternoon in the Junior Common Room years ago.

Trinity is what you are looking for as it is in the centre of Dublin. However, it is definately not the biggest university in Dublin. UCD has the most students and the biggest campus but it is situated about 15 mins out from the city centre. That is where I graduated from. The other main colleges in Dublin are DCU and DIT.
