There haven't been 3days straight when it hasn't rained in Ireland since The 13th of JUNE
It's been the worst summer in 90 years.
Look up RTE news and you'll see i'm not makeing it up to annoy you.

well at the moment THE weather is rainy and wet with sunny spells.the last week in AUGUST IS GENERALLY DRY THOUGH

It will not be cold, so no warm woollies necessary! I would suggest that you bring a raincoat and umbrella just in case, our weather is very unpredictable here. We usually have dry sunny periods at the start of September though.

Bring Plenty of weather gear no matter what time of the year it is. man, it rains here all the time. with the exception of a fantastic April, it has been raining here constantly since last October. I am hoping for a nice august but so far 6days rain 2 days sun.
