Piddle and Scaldy, sorry I mean Lidl and Aldi becoming overrun with Scangers, who currently think they are too posh to shop there at the min, and buying out all their lovely cheeses so there is none left for me.

The Poles will be going home soon anyway to build football stadiums for the next Euro champs. I'll miss them too, i think they're lovely people. Great craic.

In relation to those to mentioned that Ireland should have voted yes, the vote was closer than the international media made it out to be, we're not all idiots.

Sorry mate - but old know all is precisely right. Many English people will agree. You should never have said No. There is no advantage to that, whatsoever. The recession will hit everyone, except perhaps me and my kind. I look after old people, and ill people, and there will never be a shortage of them until the Kingdom of God appears.

I think the worst thing that's going to happen is the damage to people's mind frames.

Racism is starting to show, all the foreigners who came (who we absolutely NEEDED at the time btw, so don't be hypocritical!) are doing the job as well as the irish, possibly even better, for cheaper. So there's hatred going on there.

People are getting greedy.

The lisbon treaty vote is also proof of people closing their minds to new oportunities, and being slightly ungrateful (please no thumbs down, i'm giving my opinion here).

The government is spending our money in all the wrong places and wasting it.

I can't think of more for right now, but yeah pretty much people are going to stop being as nice, that's what worries me.

old know all is right, the stronges economy in europe is germany , we hacked them off voting no, we will get no sympathy in europe, i didnt think the recession would happen this quickly but i was saying if it did happen we better have some buddies by our side by voting yes, I wonder if the smug no voters are rethinking their concepts of europe now. Where are the shinners and libertas to give us direction for our economy now, a few weeks ago they were so concerned, now we have a recession and they have run to the hills,

"Success favours the wilderbeast that sticks close to the herd when crossing the river, its always the straggling one out on its own that gets eaten by the crocodile". We are the straggler now.

One good thing that will come is at least the ginger winger david macwilliams wont be able to write a new book, he might even loose his job as a priofit of doom as he cant tell us about it happening anymore

Serves you right for voting No. You had the choice of staying afloat with Europe, but now you're off down the plughole with the USA.

Everything, debt,no money, people not using their heating to save cash, no jobs, people being layed off, living on minimal food..... working only to pay the bills, cant use the car because petrol is so expensive......... Take your pick

the best of the immigrants leaving and the worst ones staying

?
The Celtic tiger is dead, in fact it never existed for the average working person, the money men and governments north and south made all the money through mass immigration and paying locals a pittance of a wage. I got paid off on Friday and i haven't eaten for 3 days I'm a damn good worker i don't deserve any of this crap. If we had the choice of a vote up north i would have voted no as well, Europe can go to hell!

Well an increase in homeless people will mean less people watching TV which means your ratings will suffer.
