What's great about being Irish :)?

Additional Details
It's amazing how the English and the Irish almost love each other now. It's great.
Not even the French and Germans get on as good as the Irish and English.

Everything!

= )

Why When How
what is great about being Irish is the fact the world thinks we are the bees knees, when we are in fact just ordinary people like the rest of the world.

william a
You get to blame the English for everything. Just joking - I'm English and I like the Irish.

Orla C
I've found that when you say you're from Ireland, everyone likes you, particularly the French. Of course, you have to be telling the truth ....

POCKET JOKERS - THE DARKSIDE
We have a very high class of living and our economy is still booming despite the recent job losses.

I love the accent and one of my favorite bands is The Corrs!

as a 1st generation American,(my folks came here from Ireland) I'm not only proud of how wonderful most Irish are, but also their resilience and perseverance. the Irish in america were once hated, stereotyped, and heavily discriminated against, but they never gave up and they built this country. nothing could ever keep them down and they rose above it all. so i think it's the Irish attitude in life that always impressed me the most, and i've always been very proud to be Irish.

JELO R
Well, my favorite band is The Corrs. I've been playing there music since then especially Irish folk songs or instrumentals like Erin shore, Lunasa, Haste to the wedding, Old hag and toss the feathers etc. And so as the people, I think that they are kind and happy people. I know how to sing Buchaill on Eirne? (I hope that's right)

I would prefer to be Irish living in America.

I love being Irish, and Irish people but I think Dublin where I live sucks.

O'Connell St. is a joke.....I hate the way people think building up is an 'eye sore'. Irish people can be narrow minded and ignorant and overstate their importance.

I'm sorry but this is how I feel, as I mentioned I love being Irish, but a lot of people have very narrow minds.

To repeat what has been said before: Everyone loves us! And don't forget that St Patricks day belongs to us :)

Ralph G
everything, i love the way no-one is arrogant about the way the world (seems to, anyway!) loves us, and we dont ruin it by spoiling our image through self-obsession, were just the right down-to-earth types! thats another great thing; we have access to info about everything cus wer so small we can do anything we want, wer not brought up small minded, which is why wer loved (methinks). and we can create craic out of anything while ripping the piss, and drink whenevr we want without being called an alco! i wouldnt chose any other nationality, i love being irish so much!

Is máith liom cáca millís!
Yeah you get to blame England for everything and get away with it! :o)

The fact that everyone loves us is great aswell though! (Except everyone wanting to be us is bad!)
