Having been there more times than I can count, I can testify that both the culture and scenery are worth getting a look at!
It's really true what they say about the hospitality of the Irish, they do give you such a warm welcome. Also, bed & breakfast is really good value for money (compared to UK). You'll probably get a lot of potato-bread - breakfast from heaven! ;) Ohh... And Guinness is so much better in Dublin than anywhere else.
The scenery is absolutely breath-taking. The Antrim coast (North) is stunning, and my favourite place ever is the Giant's Causeway. There's also the Ring of Kerry and the Mountains of Mourne, loads to do outdoors. And it's true - the grass really is greener in Ireland! Probably 'cause of all the rain... :D |

The Grass is ALWAYS Green
If it hasn't rained then wait and it definitely will (See above)
A huge variety of landscapes in a very small area i.e.Travel across Ireland (say Dublin to Mayo, just a couple of hundred km) the landscape changes from coastal, urban, plain, bog, mountain, rugged coastal etc etc
There are NO verminous or other nasty insects / animals in the whole of Ireland (well with the exceptions of the zoos of course). The most dangerous thing is the wasp!
There are No earthquake, hurricane, typhoon, Tsunamis etc etc or other dangerous zones
Ireland has a very low human population density in fact there are more cows than humans!
And finally as the Irish say
Its great Craic...
Enjoy |

Well to start we were voted the friendliest nation on EARTH! so that's a start.
Our scenery is breath taking, from Connemara to the Wicklow mountains.
Our culture has alot of Pride in it, most of us have stories in our families about our fight for freedom and that instills alot of patriotism in us!! |
