What's the best transport from Dublin to Glasgow based on time, accessibility and price?

Planning trip and need to get your advice ... is there a ferry? Bridge?

The best thing you can do for the price and time is get a flight from Dublin airport with Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) and fly to Glasgow Prestwick airport. If you book far enough in advance you can get it for as little as £15 one way. From the airport you can get the train into Glasgow Central train station slap bang in the centre of the city. It costs less than £5.60 (check on www.thetrainline.com). The flight will take you an hour and the train about 50 mins. Hope this helps

www.ryanair.com if you book in advance, Ferry to Liverpool or Holyhead followed by train or coach to Glasgow. If you book on ryanair sonn yu could get a flight for 5 euros pluse taxes.

I'm not sure about Glasgow, but I took the ryanair flight from Edinburgh to Dublin and it was great. It was fast, easy, and cheaper than any other airlines.
I think that Ryanair flies to an aiport outside of the Glasgow city limits and it's a bit of a commute back to the city center, but I'm not positive about that. There are good shuttles at all the major airports, though, and they are relatively inexpensive. Sometimes if you fly on Ryanair flights, the shuttles are free, but those offers are limited.
Ferries or other ground transportation will take much too long (like 5+hours) and be just as expensive if not more so, than a flight.
