Please let me say swim lol.
Its cheap enough to bring a car over on the ferry really if you drive. Book online otherwise they charge more at the port if you just turn up.
If you don't have a car the trouble is that public transport outside the cities is pretty non existant here so not quite sure how you would travel about to your campsites unless you plan on cycling or walking. |

I won't say what I was going to say and that was swim.
I think possibly the best way to go is by ferry from Holyhead or may try Ryan-air they have cheap flights.
Enjoy your trip lucky you. |

it depends what part of england you live in. Try Ryanair, EasyJet, BMI Baby and AirLingus for flights. They are all quite cheap. Prices change on a daily basis but if you book a couple of weeks in advance you can normally find return flights for around £40. I booked return flights a few days ago from Belfast to Glasgow Prestwick in mid april for £21 and normally find similar deals for Liverpool, London, West Midlands, Hamburg and Berlin |

you have to try the day you want to leave and compare both prices. flying can be cheap but they are adding new taxes every week. you can go by coach/ferry which is longer but more direct because the coach will take you to the county you want to go to. |

Cheapest and Fastest way would be airline.
I found a flight from London Gatwick to Dublin for 5 pounds. |

You could try flying with Ryanair to Shannon. It is not in a built up area like Dublin and you won't have to go far to find a camping spot. |

flights do some deals but not in high seasons, otherwise buy bus from main stations. |

I was looking recently to do this and found the cheapest way was to fly. If you have a bit of time it is worth watching the fares as they change often over the weeks.
It was more expensive to take the train (or bus) and ferry. |
