Hello Man.U. fan,
from one fan to another, fly from Manchester to Belfast, and catch a bus outside Aldergrove airport to the closest town to where you have to be in Donegal, it's a lot easier than knock and Galway flights, and more direct too..... Come on United! there's a treble ye can win again this season, Sort 'em out Fergie! have fun.....from Tony M... |

You could get a flight to Belfast International Airport or Belfast City Airport from all of those cities easyjet do that route and then you could get a bus to Donegal? |

Seems to be some confusion here as Ryanair don't fly to Belfast, but easyJet do.
Ryanair fly to Derry I believe. A few flights into Knock 'Ireland-West' might be useful too, |

Aer Arann actually fly from Glasgow to Donegal itself.
Obviously I don't know if this is any help as I don't know where you are travelling from, If you live in manchester it may be worth considering, from London Ryanair to Derry may be a better option. |

Try ryanair. But I'd go with aer arann and fly into either Knock airport or Galway.
enjoy! |

Fly to Derry with Ryanair. Its just over the border and you can travel from london, liverpool or east midlands airports and they all have at least 3 flights a day. There are regular buses from derry to various destinations in donegal operated by buseireann.ie and getting into derry from the airport is easy.
the airport website is really useful:

I'm off to Donegal in May, flying from Stansted, and it worked out much cheaper to fly Ryanair to Belfast than to Donegal or Derry - it's about an hour away. The flight times were also a bit easier to manage, and not at silly times in the early morning. |
