We're not sure what you mean by 'plain rides and even down to outlets'. We're a bit stumped with that.
We're not sure why you'd want to be giving cigs to your ex either.....

But sher come on over anyway and play it by ear when you get here.
We'd give you a good welcome right enough.

not much...you have to choose where u wanna live..(kilkenny is a lovely place..) then rent a place, maybe stay in a hotel the first few nights till uv got a place, theyre not cheap..! then if you have a full license, get a car..etc...look for a job, u wont get one if u dont have a good cv, jobs are tight at the mo coz of the recession and unemployment rates soaring, u could try to go on the dole or social welfare if u cant get a job, and thats basically all..ul work, eat, sleep and freeze ur **** off in the cold...haha it rains here alot!!! if u have a few bob saved ul be allright for a while but i strongly recommend thta u dont come here untill u have some savings coz ur not gauranteed a job...all the polish are taking them..it took me a year to find a job and im irish!!!

I'm not sure about all the details regarding how to go about getting a house, car, work etc but I live in Ireland and it does have all the things you are looking for, theres plenty of work and houses, don't worry we're not as far back as some people think who have never been here.

well first things first, it depends where you live now. If you live in the EU you wont need a Visa and can move there right away. Also, do you want to live in the north (the UK) or the republic of ireland. Dublin tends to be peoples favourite place to live but housing prices are very very expensive. You'll want to be getting some Euros and youll be able to get them changed at any bank

Book your flight online but you should make enquiries with the Irish Embassy as they will help you get started,Is there anyone you know at all in Ireland as this will be a big help if they could put you up for the first month until you find a job which shouldn't be to hard as you are a chef & there are always plenty of top hotels etc looking for chefs,Im from Cork at the very southern tip of Ireland but if your looking for Beautiful scenery it has to be Kerry its such an amazing county & its a very busy place with lots & lots of tourists & you would get a job in any hotel in kerry & plenty of relaxed night life,Insurance for cars is expensive for men so a small motorbike might be an option, rental accommodation is expensive but if you house share its not too bad,but the only thing is come over & see how it goes for you as you can always return if it doesn't work out for you & there's no shame in that, best of luck in whatever you decide....Slainte

I would say change your money in the country you live in now.
Book your flight to Ireland online.
Book a hotel online for when you arrive.
Then maybe rent a house/flat whilst you look for a house to buy...get a job and buy your car.
Our bus service is quite good so i wouldn't worry too much about having a car straight away.
Good look :]

First things first, you must be a professional and get a work visa. They won't allow just anyone to work over there. Your position and job title must be needed.

Check out the Irish Embassy's website, thats where I found out everything I needed to know. There are tons of things and requirements that must be fulfilled before you can even think about possibly moving there. It is a huge decision and it'll be very hard. But if thats what you want, then the outcomes for you will be grand. :)

It depends where you live now. If you live in the UK, just move over there but change you money into Euro's.

if you already have a career, and degree/lots of work experience in a particular area, first thing to do is to find a job, if they'll take you, go through the employer to get a work visa, then look for a places to rent/ buy, money is simple change it at the bank or if you want all your money in Irish currency (the euro i believe?) create a new account with an Irish bank or a global bank in Ireland (HSBC) and transfer funds. citizenship comes with time lived in the country, a car can be found over the internet if you want a used one and dealers can be found from whatever car manufacturers you are interested in. Plane tickets are also easy, if you are in the UK Ryan air is supercheap, if your in america just try expedia.com or something. and I am sure you will be able to find railway info for getting from the airport to a hotel for temporary accomodation.

It is a long process, with many steps, but you will find that there are people everywhere who will help you step by step

I know you're of Irish descent so if your parents or grandparents were born here you can get citizenship immeidiately, as for the rest holiday here first, we have much stricter ciggarette laws than the U.S. (you can't smoke in work or public places eg restaraunts) and from reading your other q's I'm guessing your gay, some rural areas in Ireland are still homophobic so be careful
