The Irish are very well educated, sophisticated hard working, liberal upended people., U can have fun with them , were nosy, like to chat and are geared foe visitors the south of ireland is beautiful, you get four seasons in one day, There's alot of history to EIRE and you'll find alot of story tellers, cork, kerry are beautiful, Dublin is big aand bustling and galway and the north are rugged and unspoilt you will love it here |

Chatty! Irish people will talk to ANYONE about ANYTHING. A current favourite is the demise of the Celtic Tiger and what an ***/hero Brian Cowen (An Taoiseach) is. Also, we're not all the leprechauns portrayed on TV. When you get here you'll be surprised at what wannabe Americans we've become. Irish people are very easy going on the whole (Get used to hearing the phrase "Arrah shure, what harm!") and are famed for hospitality. |

I've been to Ireland twice and both times I found the people very nice, welcoming, and definitely chatty as the previous person mentioned. Neither time did I meet a rude person while over there. |

We are not leprechauns and we do not all have red hair and don't speak Irish all the time just in school. We are chatty, nosy and stylish.
Depends though, were you live. Us dubs are very busy and chatty and funny.
However, culchies(no offense)(People who live outside of Dublin) are very nosy, rich and smart. They know everything usually about money.
Sorry it's just my experience with them. They think they know everything but they don't. |
