I particularly like Four Green Fields and Foggy Dew. Rocky Road to Dublin is great, too. Instrumentals you can't ever go wrong with the Chieftains for traditional stuff.

There are a lot of rock bands that use bagpipes. Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly are the most popular of them.

Try listen to the Wolftones and/or The Dubliners, two Irish groups who have been playing Celtic and Irish songs for longer than I've been alive.

Please ignore these plebs... The Dubliners play folk music and they are not instrumental.

I think the best Celtic Instrumental is Riverdance. The famous grand finale... It's amazing, and it's instrumental.

no - drop kick murphys and flogging molly are terrible terrible.. try bands like the wolftones or the saw doctors... the green and red of mayo is one of the most beautiful irish songs i know. there's tons of classics as well -- fields of athenry, hills of connemara, dirty old town, rocky road to dublin -- those are pretty cliche songs that everyone knows the words to.
