Galway. It is the most beautiful city I've ever visited if you dont mind getting wet! Personally, I find it more romantic than Paris too

Galway, Cork or Kilkenny, I think.

Galway is by far, it is a true native irish city.
Limerick is also a great city for night life.

As to the above comments The fountain in galway is not rusty, its actually supposed to be that colour as it represents the colour of the sailing ships called pucans, hookers and gleiteoigs. the fountain represents the sails of the ships,
Ignorance is no excuse, dont get a job with lonley planet you douchebag, you probably would go to Rome and say the Colosseum is not finished.

I actually like Kilkenny the best. It has a really nice castle and grounds and the black abbey is magnificant. The nightlife in Kilkenny is also superb. if you're living there, its not beside the sea so you don't get all the bad bad weather and the countryside is beautiful.

Galway umm if you don't mind the rusty fountain in the centre of th city its a nice place. Salthill is particurally nice.

Cork is nice if you head out to Cove, Cove is a great place and its home to the Irish naval fleet too.

Dublin is... well its a big city. Personally I don't like it but parts of it are nice if you're going shopping at Christmas or something like that

Galway, to be sure. Its friendly, colourful, great for shopping and places to stay, then if u want a lovely day trip you could go to Doolin which is a little music village in co. clare or you could go have lunch in spideal, north west of galway and listen to the locals speak irish over their lunch, which is a treat, and dont forget to have some fresh fish, like maybe scallops for lunch.mmmmmmmm Galway is a treat, I live in co. clare just below it and its always great to take a drive up. its a big college city though, but dont let that put you off, to think...lots and lots of partys! Then there s the aran island which are a must see.

Dublin and Galway without a doubt!

Here look:

Living by the sea is great - nice beaches, watersports and great views!!! Dublin has a milder year round climate being on the east coast.
