In English:
The country - Ireland
The people - Irish
The language - Irish

In the Irish language (As Gaeilge)
Country - Éire
People - Éireannach
Language - Gaeilge

The plural noun "The Irish" - 'Na hÉireannaigh' or 'Na Gaeil'
Or "The people of Ireland" - Muintir na hÉireann

As a dub myself, if u want to call some one from the country they are known as a culchie/bogger. People from Cork are known as langers and Dubs are slanged jackeens. Although other then adressing the whole country, that beats me!

I'm an Irishman, and people sometimes call me a Mick or a Paddy, but I prefer being called an Irishman plain and simple.
