If the games are in season, buy a ticket to Croke Park and go and watch a games of our national sports, hurling or Gaelic Football. www.gaa.ie, this will have all the information. The buzz during the games is brilliant and the pubs around Croke Park are great craic. |

Go to the International Bar and go on a Easter 1916 walking tour. Everything else I can suggest the bus will take you there. The Guinness Storehouse and Kilmainham Gaol are must visits. Don't go to all the pubs, there are 750 of them. Or take a train ride down the coast. Just enjoy the laid back nature of the city and the people. |

most tourists love shopping on grafton street on a saturday, there is a great buzz and I have often seen buskers playing the weirdest instruments, like harpsichords and stuff..also, check out any pubs which have a traditional Irish music session, like the plough or the cobblestone or the merchant, they are always a good way to relax and enjoy the culture...go to see the book of kells in trinity college and check out the Irish history museum...I am from Dublin and that place is one of the best ways to see the culture and history...ask in Bord failte for alternative tours..they will have lots of suggestions...and I would also recommend a trip to croke park for the G.A.A |

Well i had never been to Dublin before, and when i went with my latvian friend who had also never been, we got off the train, went on the luis and just wandered around the city, we went to jervis shopping center and had a great time, we ate in a 'park' next to the shopping center and took the day as it came, just wandered about and had the best time. when you have no specific plans its the best |

Get up and go for Irish breakfast in Bewleys (sausages, rashers, pudding, tomato, egg, etc)
Go and see the extension to the National Gallery (if you enjoy nice buildings)
Grab a take away coffee and walk down the boardwalk on the Liffey
With mates, take a fast boat trip on the Dublin bay (bring a hat!)
Have a drink in the Gravity bar (over Dublin, in Guinness's brewery)
Go to Bull Island for a walk
Go to Croke Park for a football or hurling match
Play golf in Howth
Go to Farmleigh in Phoenix Park
Take a photo by Phil Lynnott's statue
The list is endless.... |
