It's a lovely city with lovely people I have been there three times as a tourist.

The Irish people there are great, Dublin is also full of foreign tourists as well, I had a great time as there are thousands of restaurants and bars but its always best to go in good weather to see the sights. Try to venture out of Dublin as there is some fantastic countryside, bus services run well and are cheap.

Dublin is a fabulous city for bars, restaurants, culture and shopping, there is so much to see and do, I would recommend an open top bus tour as that will give you a good incite to the places you may want to visit on foot yourself, Temple bar is a good place for bars and eating and the shops are full of everything you could want, have a great time.

HI, Dublin is just fantastic, you can take a tour bus they are on O'Connell St, they cost around 12-14 euros per day, you can use your ticket all day as they are hop on hop off buses. Visit the Guinness Factory, near the end you can have your photo taken and email it to your friend and yourself, the view from the Guinness Tower is amazing you get a 360 degree view of the city. also on O'Connell St at night there are ghost buses, they cost around 20 euros they take you to all the haunted places in Dublin. The tour buses take you to all the main tourist attractions and most of them are guided tours. Go into the main Post Office on O'Connell St it takes you back in time it is beautiful inside. Henry St. is great for shopping. As is Cleary's Department store. There are lot's of places to eat and drink, have a walk along the River Liffey. Have a great stay.

there are a ton of great places in Dublin.
Temple Bar is great, and at night, you can to pub hopping, or travel around to different pubs with the musicians listening to authentic Irish music

Try a hop-on-hop-off tour...you can buy a pass that igood for 24 hours and get on and get off at any stop you want, then tour around and catch the next bus. i suggest going through the whole tour first, so you can see what looks interesting, then on the second round, get off and on when you see somthing that sparks your interest. it hits a lot of major tourist spots.

¿Qué tal? Si tu vas a Dublín tienes que intentar no pasarás todo tu tiempo con otro españoles. Nunca vas a mejorar tu inglés si estas siempre con tus paisanos. Sé que es un tontería pero su tu quieres aprendas ingles es por tu propio bien y tienes que aprovechar tu viaje.

Dublín es una ciudad muy cara y no es como España. Hay muchas diferencias entre Irlanda y España. La gente es muy amable en irlanda pero tienes que cuidaren el autobús que tu no “Gritas” como aquí en España somos mucho mas tranquila en Dublín.
Aparte la comida es distinta en Irlanda, no comen tanto pescado o marisco. Hay guisos pero no son igual que aquí en España. Tienes que intentar comes todo y aprobar antes que decides que no te gustas. Si quieres chorizo o comido típico de España puedes comprarlo en Tesco o Marks & Spencers pero es mucho mas caro que España.
Aparte de eso si tu quieres comprar regalos por tu familia, esa un buen idea ir a O’Carrolls en O’ Connell street. Estoy seguro que tu colegio va a preparar varias excursiones por ti y vas a ver todo los sitios típicos de Dublín. Abajo hay varios sitios para darte una idea de las cosas que puedes hacer. Es un buen idea preguntas tu academia de idiomas que excursiones tiene planificada durante tu visita y tu puedes hacer otro por ti mismo.

Un irlandesa que vive en Cádiz

Creo que yo no fue grosero en mi repuesta. Estaba intentando darte consejos. Cada año mando muchos niños/ jóvenes a irlanda para estudiaren en grupo o solos y he trabajado en muchos colegios en verano ahí en los ultima veinte años.
También he visto mucho pero mucho españoles que fueron a estudiar en irlanda y depuis tres días estaban llamando sus padres porque no estuvieron preparado suficiente por la experiencia.
En julio Dublín es lleno con españoles, italianos y francesas y por eso dije que intentas evitarlos y aprovechar practicando tu inglés con los nativos. Nada más, fue un consejo por tu propia bien y no fue una tontería.
Tu repuesta en inglés darme la impresión que mi repuesta fue fuera de contexto y no fue así.

great pub atmosphere, good selection of restaurants, mostly nice people, poor public transport.
Go to Christchurch, St. Stephen's Green, The Phoenix Park, Trinity College and go on the Viking Splash Tour.

Enjoy. It is also quite expensive here compared to Spain.

well i live here so i can help!!!!!
there dublin castle which is good you get a tour of the building and the underground tower!!
iys very interesting!!! i think its around €10€!!
also theres christ chursch which is just up the road from dublin castle!!!!!!
so you could view them both in one day!!!!
there is open top tour buses that run through the city and bring your around the city!!
also you could go out irealnds eye!!! there boat trips that gop out to it (its a tiny island off literally off the coast of dublin ask around about it!!!! its has a great view of dublin county and loads of wildlife!! birds etc!!!!!!!!!
you could also take a day trip out of the city up to glendalough which is a historic monastery!!!!
there loads of great shopping in dublin especially grafton stree and jervis street!!!! ask anybody and theyll point you in the right direction!!!!
you can aloso vist the national musem of irealand which is located on the luas line!!!!
the luas is a tram that goes through the city and out to the suburbs and beyond!! there a green line and a red line so make sure you get on the right one!!!!
