it depends entirely on the person....no two people are alike, so why generalise? I dont like or dislike anyone because of there nationality, race, faith, appearance or gender...you have to know the person!

Honestly, it would depend on how she comported herself, if she got loud and obnoxious from not being able to hold her drink, I wouldn't like that. Mind you, I don't like that in any nationality.

The only issue I have with Americans in Europe at the moment is that they complain loudly at the cost of everything. People, you've had it so good for so long. Welcome to the real world.

This Irish dude/girl doesn't know the American girl so how can they think ANYTHING of her?
It depends on how both people act.

No generalizing!!!

Well we would not know them so we would not judge them.

There is a good few Americans that have settled down in Ireland and have not gone back, and also lots of Dutch Germans British Belgians etc and they are all very Happy here. The Majority seem to like the Rural Life of West Cork, Kerry, Clare ,and Wicklow. So there must be something about us that they like. There are the Loud Obnoxious kind that I do not like, but mostly they are great. If you go to any Foreign Country ,you must not belittle the People you are visiting if you want to fit in. Mind what you say, be Polite and do not Talk Loud. Listen more before you say anything, and dont be Opinionated and get involved in Local Politics or Squabbles.
