eh i used to like them when i was younger but know you wouldn't really hear any of there music on the radio or anything so there not as popular as they were!
yes the kings of leon and the killers are more of the type of music we listen to now

The Corrs are good musicians and singers, they're okay. I think they are reasonably well-liked in Ireland.

I dont really hear of them much now,they are not in the News anymore.

Andrea Corr and the other Corr Girl are Gorgeous looking.

They started off being a Traditional Irish Music Group and then Diversified into playing Popular Modern Style Ballads and Songs but sometimes still Play Traditional Style.

They are very Agreeable to Listen to , I would not fault them in any way.

When Irish Musicians and Singers start off in the Business they try and become Popular in their own Country ,then they start to make it in Britain then America. When they Establish themselves Worldwide they no longer have much interest in the Home Country anymore.
They are often asked to do Concerts back in Ireland but rarely come Home anymore,prefering to go where the Money is.

So we hardly ever see a lot of Irish Artists anymore like,Aina I dont know how to say the Correct Name,Clannad,Phil Coulter, U2,all the Ballad Singers. They just seem to Vanish into thin Air when they go Abroad and are hardly ever Heard of again until they need Money when their Flame begins to Die over Seas and they have to come Home to make a bit of Money.

Ya they're ok, a few of their hits I loved and i few i loathed. I don't really hear anything from them anymore. They are really talented musicians but that Jim dude always gave me the heebie jeebies 4 some reason..ha!

Not a fan of them to be really honest. It not my favourite genre of music anyway and I felt that all of their songs had the same rhythm and tune. Not a lot of variety. I don't know any Corrs fans here, just a few people that like the odd songs now and then.

I love the Corrs. They are really nice, polite, talented girls. They did well in Europe with their album Blue. Ireland included. We are still part of Europe, you know. I hope it stays that way. Lol

Anyway, I went to see them live once and they are fabulous.

Some Irish women are jealous of people that are more talented and better looking than them. (Oh thumb me down, you know it is true)

But there albums still sold well in Ireland.

Of course us Cork people know a good thing when we see it.

Saying that the led singer Andrea Corr released a solo album and
it did not sell well as I recall.

Anyway it was probably bad timing.

I hope the band get together soon.

Musically speaking I think The Corrs are the biggest Epic Fail to come out of Ireland. Their music is dire crap.
And Yes they are still alive.
