I don't think anything about them. I would treat them as individuals, just like I would treat people from any other country.

country is fine people are also fine

My own experience of the French is that they are very culturally conscious of being 'French' and all that it entails, but when it boils down to it, they like a drink and a good meal and a good time just like everyone else. I've been to France a few times, speak some of the language and on the whole have got on fine avec les Francais.

I'm Irish and my sister is married to a French man.

I think France is a beautiful country and I love the sound of the language though sadly, my French is not as good as my sister's.

I love holidaying in France.

Jeremy M
I'm sure you're really nice but if you want the truth a lot of Irish people think French people a snobbish

Why do you have to say that you are a French girl living in Cork city? The answers you'll get might not be what you would have got should you have simply asked: "I would like to know what does (by the way is it "does" or "do" ?) Irish people think about my country?" I wish you a pleasant stay in Cork .
