can i recommend this hotel which is right in the heart of stephens green extremly close to grafton street the place to shop-----the shelbourne hotel..i've stayed here before and it is soo close to everything..its a reallly nice hotel worth your while checking it out

taigboland
What price range are looking for?
The Westbury is right off grafton st. I think it's about $300 a night. First class... Shelbourne, Gresham, Davenport are all good. Gresham probably cheapest of those, and on O'Connel st.
Acaemy, cheaper still, and there's a best western on Talbot St.
Jury's Inns (IFC or Christchurch) are very reasonable, but book early

You can search and choose hotel information, rates and availability for free in over 200 countries world wide at my profile.

the royal dublin on o connell st

Slap bang in the middle of Temple is the Morgan. You don't mention a price range so this one is middle - 4 star, modern, newly renovated hotel. There are loads of high end hotels right in the center, the Westin, The Merrion etc. You will find plenty at the lower end too but check out area's before you book, some parts of the city can be very dark and quiet at night. Go to tripadvisor.ie before booking anywhere, it gives great advice!

POCKET JOKERS - THE DARKSIDE
Days hotel is lovely at only €70 a night, it's in Rathmines and thats the best and safest sport.

Right by the O'Connell Street Bridge is the Arlington Hotel. It is reasonably priced and has live entertainment nightly.

I would recommend a stay at the jurys inn (either one) They aren't dead center , but they are reasonable and close to things without being noisy.
