Try Google Earth. You can download it online.

Navteq. I have the whole set for Europe. Unfortunately it doesn't include Croatia, 'cause I want to drive there.

AA route planner is the most accurate for Ireland, though I can't be certain about mainland UK. Try their website as they give even the smallest villages in their routes.

Hello,
The AA route-planner is quite a good one and gives clear concise information, you can easily install google earth too, this, will put an icon on your monitor screen, for speedy connection. well worth the bother of installing it, and you may well be surprised and entertained too at how it operates, I enjoy using it, the only other alternative is get your self a really good atlas on Ireland, at least that will give you some essential references phone numbers etc. I do so hope I have been able to help you, happy motoring. ...........................Tony M
