We Talk a lot are good Debaters, most People have Opinions about everything and will Argue the Toss about something. we are natural Storytellers and Spin Yarns, we tell Jokes and tell that something is true and look at you with a Stony Face. They look at you to see the Reaction and get delighted when you believe them and may not tell you that it is a joke and keep up the Pretense for Months or they might tell you right away and then collapse in a heap Laughing at you. We have the same sort of Lifestyle like many European Countries, wear Stylish Clothes. the Majority of Young People now get a very good education and our Food is International as well as Traditional Irish. We have a Pub Culture like Britains and usually go to the Pub on Weekends and then perhaps to a Disco or Nightclub.

If you are looking for Leprechauns, Thatched Cottages everywhere and everybody saying Top O the Mornin to Ye Sur it does not Exist only in the Minds of Hollywood Movie Executives. We have Thatched Cottages but there are not many left.
We are Renowned for our Artists and Playwrights,we are a very Friendly People and seem to get on with Most other Countries in the World.

Don't tell my boss I'm on here
Hmm, well I work 5 days a week, go to the gym 2 nights a week, have a drink and go out for dinner 1 night a week and sit in and watch the soaps the rest of the nights.

I go to the cinema about once a month. (I'm not a huge cinema fan)

I go on holiday for 1 week a year, usually to mainland Europe, and also have a couple of weekends away a couple of times a year.

Hope this helps :D

Irish personality? What?

If you mean that like most of the rest of the world we are creative, intuitive, resourceful, like a good time, and appreciate beauty, then why would we be different from anyone else?

Marshall is right. Due to the IRA the wider society has a negative view of Irish people. They think all Irish people are terrorists. Sadly the IRA killing campaign made everyone think of Irish as IRA. Such a pity as most Irish are not like this but are friendly funny and cool

if u come from an absolute shithole like ballymun or finglas u will spend the day harrassing people and generally being a drain on society.

the rest of the population just gets on with it.

Sadly, Society's view of us is that we drink, fight, blow stuff up (screw you IRA), have red hair and boil everything until your can "eat" it through a straw.
