Your question is hilarious! If there was an answer to it, that person would be a millionaire. Ireland is the Land of everything, except predictable weather. We've just had the driest April on record..last year it was a flood. Ireland is an island, the first land after three thousand miles of Atlantic Ocean. No one knows what will happen here on any given day and only a fool would predict.
The Irish do not depend on the weather for a life. We get by. If you want predictable weather go to Spain. Still, you would be missing out on so much! We have learned how to amuse ourselves in our erratic weather. Come, bring a raincoat, and enjoy yourself. There is more to life than the old 98.6.

Now - quickly! It's been fabulous here for the last few weeks, but no telling how long it'll last!

well, theres no definate "good weather" in ireland-(unfortuatly!) but right noe were having great weather, even hotter than some parts of spain!! - although this is going to break in the next few days:(
we have a fairly netural climate - not too hot, not too cold, all year round - but may/june/july are good months to come..but for some reason i always find that we seem to have good weather in september!!
hope that helps!

cotterpin
well unfortunately the irish weather is very unpredictable so its hard to say..although september is usually nice!!
always when you go back to school after the hols!!!!!

If you are asking about the weather in Ireland then you are missing the best reasons for going there. You can always work around the weather. I been there in July and August and I saw rain everyday but also saw the sun everyday. Lots of time it rain at night or while we were driving through it of maybe while we were in a pub having a pint or maybe in the morning while we were eating breakfast but it never bothered us. That's what makes Ireland green and it is. Just go when you can. Mostly May through September.

It's pot luck really. We've just had the warmest and sunniest April in donkeys years; yet in March it was pelting sleet. My brother got married years ago in mid-June and it snowed on his wedding day!

To be honest, September is usually good, weather-wise; still sunny and pleasant, with the evenings shortening a little, and everything still going on!

theres meant to be a heat wave this summer so anytime between June and august

bnagrrl
June/July/August are usually the warmest months, although the past few weeks have been unseasonably warm, reaching over 20 degrees Celsius most days, which is very warm for here.

You're kidding, Buffy! You'll get plenty of weather in Ireland, but none of it will be good.

The climate in Ireland is much the same as the UK, in fact....

Ireland is approx one day ahead of the UK re: the weather so..

Any time in the summer would be good but.. if you are going to the west coast of Ireland be advised that it may get windy as it'll come form the Atlantic..

Have a great time :)

Hello Buffy,
this is all due to a bit of Global warming, but in recent years in Ireland, the weather has been glorious, and even the nights have been warmer, think on starting your summer in Mid May, and love it when your summer will extend right out until mid to late September, and trhat my friend is getting on for a 5 month summer, so although you will not need so much heavy and warm clothing, you would be well advised to take a sweater or two for the evenings and early mornings, as well as some sturdy shoes and warmer trousers or even jeans, but just go to my country and wonder azfter your arrival why you asked this question, as you will be having so much fun, you won't be too worried what the weather is like, we have an old saying about Irish weather anyway, and that is, "If you don't like the weather just now, Wait a few minutes, and if it doesn't clear up, stay home and have fun indoors anyway,"...Bye Tony M
