That's the best i can do for you ,in the U.K., zip codes are known as Post codes and in Ireland they're known as Postal districts.
I hope this helps you.
Dublin's postal districts are:
Northside {Covering Local Government Area}: Southside {Covering Local Government Area}:
Dublin 1 (D1) {Dublin} Dublin 2 (D2) {Dublin}
Dublin 3 (D3) {Dublin} Dublin 4 (D4) {Dublin, Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown}
Dublin 5 (D5) {Dublin} Dublin 6 (D6) {Dublin, South Dublin}
Dublin 7 (D7) {Dublin} Dublin 6w (D6w) {Dublin, South Dublin}
Dublin 8 (D8) {Dublin} Dublin 8 (D8) {Dublin}
Dublin 9 (D9) {Dublin, Fingal} Dublin 10 (D10) {Dublin}
Dublin 11 (D11) {Dublin, Fingal} Dublin 12 (D12) {Dublin}
Dublin 13 (D13) {Dublin, Fingal} Dublin 14 (D14) {Dublin, Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown, South Dublin}
Dublin 15 (D15) {Fingal} Dublin 16 (D16) {Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown, South Dublin}
Dublin 17 (D17) {Dublin, Fingal} Dublin 18 (D18) {Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown}
Dublin 20 (D20) {Dublin, South Dublin}
Dublin 22 (D22) {South Dublin}
Dublin 24 (D24) {South Dublin}
"Co. Dublin" {Fingal, South Dublin, Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown, and small pockets of Meath}
It is proposed this system will be abolished at some point with the introduction of a national postcode system, but no details have been released.[1] |

dublin has a load of zip codes. you need to find the suburb of where it is going to. all suburbs south of the liffey are even and all north of the liffey are odd. (except for the zoo which is on the north side and it's own zip code of dublin 8). the highest one i know of is tallaght, dublin 24 |

The answer is 2.
Postcodes are not required in Ireland (except Dublin and Cork city). These two cities have either a 1 or 2 digit zone number which appears after the name of the city (eg Dublin 2, Cork 1). This number is shown after the street name (eg 25 Clare Street 2 = 25 Clare Street, Dublin 2). |

To be precise, we'd need to know the exact area in Dublin you are asking about.
Below the map at the website below, the main street names are included for Dublin 1 and 2 (Lanes, Avenues, Alleys, Courts, Rows etc. are not included) and for the rest of the Dublin postal area, there is a list of each suburb included in that area. The codes go from Dublin 1 to Dublin 24.

we do not have zip codes. however we do have numbers for which part of dublin you're in but you really don't need to know that if you wish to send a letter. they will get it if you write Co. Dublin on it. |

Each area has a specific post code, however, just write the house number street address and the area on the envelope and it will get there. Taxi drivers are very knowledgeable just give the street address and the area and the will drive you there. |

There isn't one - every address in Dublin has a different one. You'll need to contact whoever it is you want to write a letter to and ask them their postcode. Interestingly, Dublin is the only place in Ireland that uses postcodes: the rest of Ireland doesn't bother. |

Depends on what part of Dublin you're talking about. The city centre is Dublin 1 and Dublin 2 north and south of the river respectively, and the north side of the river has odd numbers, while the south side has even numbers.
If you provide the name of the area, it would be possible to guess the correct number - for example Ballsbridge and Donnybrook are both Dublin 4. |

Dublin would have many postal codes, depending on the address. here are a couple of examples of addresses there:
Mission Home Address:
40 Park View
Castleknock, Dublin 15
Ireland
Mailing Address:
The Willows, Finglas Road
Glasnevin, Dublin 11
Ireland |
