Crazygirl

What is the most hated animal in Ireland?

Additional Details
The question was not a metaphor.

Like animals, not people.

The Mink is a nasty little critter alright. They go for your eyes. The pigeon is like walking sack of crap. Yuk

Mink, because they kill all the other small animals around and mess up local ecosystems.

Smart move on the part of animals rights actvists, releasing those creatures into the Irish countryside. The only thing mink are good for are their skins!

Sshhhh! It's Podge and Rodge

That woman who got sentenced today for abusing her kids.
They should have locked her up and thrown away the key.

Farmers seem to hate badgers, they're always culling them and stuff. I dunno though, I don't see what their problem is. Seem like cool little guys.

agooddub
The Black and Tans were the most hated animals in Ireland. Those of them that weren't killed fled back to England and have since died of old age.

i like all animals, but people seem to hate rats/mice cos they always put down traps for them and regard them as pests.
Its not the minks fault they were introduced over here...they didnt swim over by themselves, and they kill small mammals like birds and rabbits, as do cats, so why does no one hate cats?? Theyre just trying to survive.

Ok I'm an Irish Animal Lover, and that includes rats, snails etc, in fact I like rats alot. I can't really think of an animal in Ireland I don't like, Jellyfish maybe but they're seasonal

Hibernius
All of them, Irish people are not really animal lovers. A bit behind really as far as animal welfare is concerned.

Tid
Snakes.....apparently some silly questions already on here how we drove them out of the country, so I'd guess snakes.

rustynail

Ya minks are pretty awful.
Pidgeons are flying disease bags.
Rats are just icky.
Flies are horrible in the summer :(
Slugs and snails are quite repulsive!
I would go 4 one of the above! :-D
