Its very easy to get accommodation at the moment in ireland. And it has really come down in price. But i have lived all over Ireland and its Beautiful place to live and bring up children. Galway has to be the best for culture and fun and of course the crack!! anywhere outside of Galway city towns like Oranmore, Clarenbridge, or Tuam area. All have fantastic schools, and very friendly people living there. its always lovely to see new faces. And you will feel more then welcome.... good luck!!

At the moment jobs are an issue, so if you are hoping to get one, you might be better staying where you are.

However, if you can set up a viable business here, and can employ local people, you'd be welcome.

Sshhhh! It's Podge and Rodge
It sounds like Leitrim is the place for you!

The Nine Lives of Laura Gonzales
If you're looking for work, you're best off staying where you are for now. It's pretty tough everywhere at the moment.

south east of ireland gets the best of the weather! and has everything! it is only an hour and a half drive to the capital city dublin and has everything like beaches everywhere because it is at the coast and mountains then futher inland! i am talking about county Wexford! where i live! cork is nice too!! it is a city so it has more than wexford!!

Scaldy
Far more expensive than Britain and impossible to find a job. Leave it a few years til the economy picks up...

not many jobs around now, but your best bet would prob still be Dublin for that. After Dubin, try cork and galway. Dublin is the most expensive so i would advise to start looking for work before you come here.

conamara lovely place i live here its brill contryside great cliff veuws nd very peacefull

Kilarney, lovely, fesh food, quite, the weather is bad which is normal, big houses and no parking pressure.

But Expensive in general, as it is a touristic area and some parts even dearer then the UK.

Best place to live weather wise, cheaper, fresh and nice life is Marbella - Spain (Southern Spain), have a look at www.marbellaeye.com and decide. But in Spain n o government help you have to have money.
