If you like surfing Bundoran has great surfing. Donegal town is a lovely town to visit, Letterkenny is a big town with loads of shops and things to do in it. It really depends what you are into. I would base myself in Donegal town if you want to go around south Donegal, Sliabh Liabh cliffs are good, Glencolmcille is beside it, lovely around there. If you want to go further north letterkenny is a good place to base yourself. It is a lovely county and people are friendly there.

Enjoy!

We went to a place called Glenties and we stayed in the same hotel room and slept in the same bed that Meryl Streep was in when she was filming Dancing At Lughnasa.
Rodge got so excited at the thought, I won't tell you what he did to commemorate it.......

Depending on your interests there is a wide range of activities to do. South Donegal you could see sliabh league which is the highest sea cliff in europe, killybegs which is the largest fishing port in ireland, donegal town is a pleasant little town with little cafes. North donegal you could go to letterkenny for shopping, cinema, bowling or even to glenveagh national park.
