My favourite is definitely the Dublin accent. After I moved from there down to Cork I couldn't understand a word! It's more than the accent though. It's like a totally different language! Lot's of 'likes' and 'shams'. I'm, like, fluent now!

ANY Irish accent makes me melt and go completely weak at the knees! But I would say I prefer a Cork or Dublin accent over a Northern Irish Accent.

Its without a doubt, the sexiest accent in the world. In my opinion!

Polls conducted twice in Northern and Republic showed that the Co.Down accent is favorite. ( Irish cultural studies May 2007)second was Dublin. Third was Tyrone.

Isn't there only one? Irish?

Now there's some people who have a more "lilting" accent than the rough Irish brogue, if that's what you mean.
