i hate the cork city accent but i love the west cork accent. And they are totally different by the way. I can't stand the north dublin accent. |

Look at these idiots who think there is only one Irish accent. I can only really distinguish the difference between Northern Ireland and the Republic but i am not so ignorant to think that there are only two. |

Northside Dublin.....uurrrgghhh.... D4s have also sort of made up their own accent which is tiring and really gets on your nerves!
And also the fake made for TV ones....No one speaks like that lol!=] |

I love them all! But I suppose the Kerry one can be a little tiring after a while, or a bit annoying. |

I think all the Irish regional accents are brilliant and I get great craic from trying to identify them when ear wigging in on conversations on the bus or train.
There is only one accent which irritates me and that has to be Southside Dublin. It's so false and effected, it makes me cringe.
I'm a northside Dub and can be pigeon holed the minute I open my mouth, but I don't care, I wouldn't try to change it ... ever. |

Sshhhh! It's Podge and Rodge

It has to be the Meath accent, its too broad and it feels like it takes them an hour to finish a sentence. I'm also not too gone on the Derry accent as I find it hard to understand and without being a prude, I really don't like coarse city accents such as Limerick or North Dublin accents.
I like all the accents on the west coast from Donegal to Kerry! |

North Dublin and Cork. They are both accents which make me shudder. The Accent where I live I think is one of the best - Galway. |

I think the stronger the brogue the more I like it. The fake ones, or the wanna be's on TV I do not like. My Grandfather had a really soft brogue after he came to the states. I loved it. |

Don't tell my boss I'm on here

I cannot abide the spidey West Belfast accent, where they say 'Wer' instead of with and 'Har' instead of how. GRRR!
I also can't stand the Shannon accent, it sounds really dopey. |
