Rain coat cant emphasise the word rain enough.

Still it may rain alot here in ireland but on venus it rains concentrated sulphuric acid so i guess its swings and roundabouts really

Podge and Rodge Tribute Band
A nice sleek black number would be fine.
A bit like Ellen Barkin in Sea Of Love when she went into the shop to see Al Pacino.......

well if you can buy a wind/water proof coat because, living in Ireland, i find that october is very rainy and very windy, but no usually as cold as i need to buy a thick warm coat.

just a suggestion hope it helps

Wool with a waterproof slicker to throw on every time it rains. Or you can do what we did and just slip into a pub for a pint every time it rains.

I had the same question today... how funny. Everyone keeps telling me to take a rain coat -- but I'm really swinging towards wool.

I also think it depends on what part of the US you're from and what kind of weather you're accustomed to. October is one of Ireland's most rainy seasons... oh darn, see now you convinced me to get a new raincoat.

greenorlagh
It'll be a bit nippy. And a bit wet.

Id say both something to keep you warm and definately one to keep you dry< especially going by todays weather.

I would bring a warm coat with a good hood and also a lighter one sometimes although the weather is rainy it can be warm but other times itl be cold or you could always wait until you get here and buy one in places like pennys there cheap enjoy ur visit!!
