At 14 your can: Work part-time during the school year and the school holidays (there are limits on the number of hours you can work and only certain types of work are allowed).

At 15 you can: Leave school

At 16 you can:
Get a licence for a motorbike of 150cc or less.
Get a student flying licence.
Be thrown out of home (parents/guardians must maintain you until your 16th birthday).
Change your name with parents/guardians consent.

The National Youth Council of Ireland have an age related list of rights on their website which you can access below:

If you want to smell and kill yourself you can buy ciggarettes at 16 in Ireland

sweet f**k all

**** all buddy, apart from being allowed to ride a motorbike!

Eamonn S
In Ireland you can decide for yourself if you want to quit highschool, I believe. Other than that and riding a "Motorbike" the emancipation age is 18. You can't drink alcohol, but most bartenders can't tell the difference between 16 and 18.But the answer is still ****all.
