No idea.

The red hair is a myth, as not everyone is redhaired here, but almost every family has the gene.

The pint of Guinness? Please. Some of can't stand that stuff, find it disgusting.

You must be one of the tiny minority that fit the stereotype.

you have to be about 3 feet tall, wear a green coat and hat, have a squeaky little voice, and grant wishes to people who capture you.

very few people fit the stereotype
a recent study showed we're mostly dark haired and light skinned and most irish people have identical genetic makeup as those from northern spain

yes pale shin and red hair are a give away but there is also the black Irish, like my husband white skin, dark hair and striking blue eyes his mother is the same raven hair and blue eyes love it red heads are also Scottish and English how people know is acctually a guess lol

haha listen to all the people saying red hair and freckles lol

obviously none of them have been to ireland...my opinion is that ireland has some of the most beautiful women in the world and i personaly dont go for red heads...or freckles lol

jet black hair and blue eyes could be described as irish looking

Not everyone fits the stereotype, Irish people sometimes have fair hair and skin but also have very dark hair and sallow skin.

there are more red heads in Scotland than Ireland, so I wish to god all these eejits that think Irish have red hair would stop. We're more likely to have pale skin and dark hair with blue eyes.

However, there are also a lot of blonds (blame the vikings), so I don't know what a typical Irish person should look like, but its definitely not red hair and freckles.

I've dark hair and green eyes, most of my family are blond and blue eyed

Pale skin, blue eyes, a great sense of humor, loves Irish jokes of all kinds...
Also hair color (either brown, black, or red).

Then also--a love of anything green!

SmiileToday
Yeah, usually pale. I suppose if you have red hair people may asume you are scotish or irish because most redheads come from those countries. Maybe freckles ?

To all the Americans on here, check under your beds tonight as I think Darby O' Gill and the Little People are under it wearing their Aran sweaters and playing music on their fiddles. Jeez.
