There's no way of telling really unfortunately. So far though since about the end of May to now it's been quite dry and we've had some nice, warm days. I'm hoping it lasts although today here in Cork it was a bit wet.

We wouldn't get extremes of hot or cold but it could definately get warm enough to wear a pair of shorts

Mmmm the last few days have been really hot and shorts would have been perfect. Its raining today. Basically I would check the forecast closer to the time and then think bout it, but you will probably be wise to bring for both rain and sun!

the irish weather changes like a scitzophrenic personality, it is impossible to tell, a good day would be early 20's celsius, or mid 70's farenheit ... but it could be cloudy and raining and only in the teens, or late 50's farenheit

have fun on your vacation !!GOD BLESS

Well i would def. bring rain jackets, hoodies, pants, long sleeves. But bring you know a bit summer-y clothes. It really depends. When i went last summer (July 2- August 2) It was chilly but i guess it was a bad summer. I lived in hoodies and pants.

Well you defo need to bring a few sweatshirts cause even if its hot during the day its pretty cooler at night.
Enjoy

It could be anywhere from 12 degrees C to 23 degrees C, which is what's been happening for the last few weeks. Bring jeans, comfortable pants ie tracksuit pants, skirts/shorts, a few t-shirts, and a jacket/hoodie (not a winter one, it's not that cold here!). I usually wear a t-shirt and a skirt or jeans in the summer, and I'd keep a hoodie or light jacket in the car too.

I saw a post here about us not using umbrellas - that's crazy! If it rains you'll need an umbrella but you can buy one anywhere. Do go around wearing a see-through plastic mac and with a bum bag if you want, but only if you really don't care what you look like! It's fairly casual here, but that's going a bit too far.

There's a chain called Penneys here, it's in Cork, Limerick, Galway, Dublin and a few other place, you can get really cheap clothes there so if you're stuck for anything you can get it there. There are clothes shops everywhere but they can be small and very expensive outside of the cities.

The weather is very changeable - just layer up. There really isn't much use for shorts in Ireland, but then I get cold when I wear them. Just my opinion. It never gets very hot. At least not like other places. I'd say it gets maybe high 70's tops. it needs to be 80s or above for me to start wearin' shorts!

Best to wear jeans/pants, a t shirt and have a light jacket handy just in case - works best for me. I wear the girly version of course :) Umbrella isn't all that necessary.

You could get some of those convertible cargo pants that can be rolled up or detached to become shorts - they have more fashionable ones these days. Just layer and you will be prepared for anything. And don't over pack - after awhile you just wind up wearing the same thing over and over. have a good trip - Ireland is a great country to explore.

Bring shorts, trousers, teeshirts, jumpers, suncream, umbrella.... in short bring everything excpet the kitchen sink ,the weather is COMPLETELY unpredictable. Even if its hot and sunny in the morning, it will probably be cold and raining in the afternoon.

hi you
just right now it is hot but by the 27th it may not be it is hard to say here in Ireland i would pack a few things for when it is cold and pack a rain coat to even doe you may not need it for you stay it will be handy to have it just in case

Private-me
it might be wet but it wont be cold...

i think you should wear hiking boots and socks, these tough shoes will be good for trecking around, wether in the cities or countryside. wear a good sturdy pair of shorts, feel the irish breeze blowing on your legs. you should wear a tshirt from your own country (a football jersey, patriotic tshirt) so everyone can tell where your from and be sure to welcome you. an arran jumper is a good choice too, itl keep you warm in the cooler evenings and cool in the sunny days too, then just wear a bum-bag and you camera around your neck and your good to go!!

have a great trip. :)

you wont need an umbrella noone uses these in irelnd, just a clear plastic mac bought on the side of the street should be enough for summer showers
