What would be the best town in Ireland to study English, two weeks during the winter? |
I would like a nice place, with some tourist sights and definitely something to do during the winter, and also not "in the midle of nowhere", close enough to other towns, so that I can make excursions?
Maybe a place with many students, like Heidelberg is in Germany?

GALWAY!!!! The best city in Ireland! It's got a great student culture with hopping nightlife and tons to do. It's also on the atlantic so you've got the ocean and you can drive into the country to get away from it all. Great pubs with live music etc.. Try Roisin Dubhs or The Kings Head. Check out Galway.net |

Killarney in co.kerry is very nice.They also have an English school.It's called Killarney school of English.

You can either stay with the school,of you can stay with an Irish family.When I was living in Ireland,I use to have alot of their students stay with me,both teenagers and adults.
All the students that have stayed with me,have all really enjoyed their time learning eglish,and going out about to see all the wonderful things Killarney has.
You can either have classes one on one,or in a group.
killarney has a train station and a bus station,so getting to other places would be very easy for you.

there is a place called bray just on the outskirts of dublin. there is constantly students here! and lots! we get them to stay in my house aswell, theres a language school just down the road. all the students weve had have enjoyed it here! |
