dont touch the blarney stone never mind kiss it, apparently the locals like to urinate on it.

in dublin --- the guinness store house, the GPO (its a post offce but it has historical significance), the jameson distillery, the james joyce house on usher quay, all the museums around kildare street ... cant think of anything else

out side dublin --- newgrange, knowth, dowth and trim castle (co. meath) glendalough (co. wicklow i think) the burren (co. clare i think) kilkenny city -- its pretty, waterford city -- its fun, (the peoples republic of) cork -- its supposedly cultural, galway its bits of the previous three all put together

avoid limerick --- its scary

but yeah the pubs are the best things to see

bag pipes are scotish by the way

Been to Ireland many times and have say my fondest memories are of the Dingle Peninsula. In Dublin Trinity College is a must (Book of Kells). A late evening drink in the Guinness tower on a clear night is worth the trip.

The people! The men! The women! The children!
