On Saturday, May 20, 2006 you have the Bon Jovi Concert at 7.30pm (Croke Park), tickets are available from the Ticketmaster Desk, Dublin Tourism Centre, Suffolk Street, Dublin 2.

On Sunday the 21, 2006 you can go to the Dublin Toy and Train Fair at Clontarf Castle Hotel. The Dublin Toy and Train Fair will this year celebrate fourteen years in operation, attracting collectors in search of a great day's browsing and buying.

Collectable toys of all kinds will be available including Diecast models by Corgi and Dinky, construction sets by Meccano and Bayko, lead soldiers by Britains and Crescent, trains by Hornby, Triang, Trix, Wrenn and Marklin.

Antique dolls, film annuals from the 1940's-1960's, jigsaws, teddy bears and not forgetting the very collectable Beanie Babies will also be available.

Books and catalogues by all the famous manufacturers can be bought on the day.

Facilities: parking, bar and restaurant (refreshments available all day).

An atmospheric location for a Toy Fair, Clontarf Castle is just 2 miles from the centre of Dublin. The picturesque castle, originally built in 1172 and rebuilt by William Morrisson in 1837, has been incorporated into a modern 4 star hotel and conference centre.

Bus number 130 from Lower Abbey Street. 10 minutes walk from Killester DART station.

Alot of people will be leaving to go to Wales to watch Munster play Biarritz in rugby. Even though Dublin is not in Munster alot of people who live in Dublin are originally from Munster (i.e south west of Ireland). Otherwise checkout www.entertainmentireland.com for a list of events, gigs, shows etc

The Samuel Beckett Festival is still on (http://www.beckettcentenaryfestival.ie/) ! This Saturday I'll be going to see Waiting for Godot (28€) for example (his masterpiece).

And there are still seats available because it's the end of the festival too -it lasts till the 25th of May.

The official website of the festival and the Gate Theatre website will tell you more about it :http://www.gate-theatre.ie
(Watch out, you can't book on line and need to phone or to go there)
