For the weather I would normally say we get the best weather in April but I'd recommended the Summer or Autumn.

There really is no 'bad' time to visit Ireland, it depends on what you like. Weather is unrpredictable as it's not uncommon to have the four seasons in one day!

Usually the Summer months of June, July and August have the best weather but saying that it will be alot busier on the roads, in the cities and at attractions. Towns and villages are busy during the day and nightlife during the Summer months goes into overdrive! There's also alot of festivals taking place during the Summer months in Ireland.

The Winter is quieter here but the weather is usually cold and wet and some attractions may be closed for the Winter. However, being a quieter time of the year, you might find driving on Irish roads much easier and you also might find yourself a very good value holiday here.

Hope this helps make up your mind!
