Breakfast (large SLICES of bacon, not rashers, sizzling fat sausages, fresh free range eggs with bright yellow yolks, warm soda bread with lashings of creamy Irish butter and homemade marmalade, all washed down with strong freshly brewed tea).
Irish hospitality, friendly people, spectacular views, and a pace of life so laid back you think you're in Heaven.
Love it!

I dream to see Ireland someday. Everything must be perfect there. I think of green rolling hill, horses, cobblestone roads and buildings. My favorite actress Maureen Sullivan, such a lass. I would love to go to a pub and have a good brew.

My wife. She has dual-citizenship, Ireland/US. Also Irish Whiskey, Guinness, Dublin Tea, Irish sodabread, “Danny Boy”, Belleek China, U2, and Van Morrison.

LMAO at 'Daniel's Mom'. I've never bumped into the loch ness monster, and I've lived here since I was born. He must reside in the Grand Canal in Dublin, you can't see anything under them murky brown waters.

My son and lovely 5 year old granddaughter who lives there, and who we do not get to see very often, and all the places we have visited when we have managed to go over for a holiday. The wonderful Irish breakfast comes to mind as we only have a very light one when at home, but who could resist it?

The worlds worst "high pitched" tenors..That ghastly thing Ian Paisley..And a friend of mine from county kerry who gets on one side of his bike..and falls off the other!{there is no logical reason for this, exept to say that he's a Kerryman!

The way you phrased that, "what cums to mind", the first thing I thought of was a hot red haired chick with the Rolling Stones song "Start Me Up" playing in the background. Why did you use the sexual connotation version of the word come?

paula

I read someplace that there's something in the Irish Republic's Constitution concerning foreign affairs...peace and cooperation amongst nations, international justice, peaceful settlement settlement of disagreements... . Ireland stood up to George Bush and refused to join his "Coalition of the Willing"I've read that many people in Ireland are upset that planes may have landed at Shannon Airport carrying prisoners on their way to be tortured. Ireland is far away from George W. Bush and his followers. I really doubt that Ireland would have invaded another country, played the international bully...Pretty scenery and mild climate are just an added bonus. I want to live in Ireland.
