There's quite a few reasonably priced hotels which may be available at lower than the indicative prices shown on this site. The Rockbarton Park Hotel is around 40 Euros or less near the entertainment complex in Galway. If you want accommodation in the heart of the city try the Forster Court, which i saw for around 65 Euros.

Some are situated in Taylors Hill and most are within range of the art galleries, theatres, museums and high street shopping stores.

You have to fossick around as offers seem to change with the time of year and some include free full breakfasts. Best to look for "Galway City" since othwise some of them can be up to 20 mins walk from the centre. The rest are mostly within a 5-15 mins radius .

That depends on how up-market you want to go. There are lots of hotels within walking distance of the city centre, the cheapest of theese is probably Jury's Inn. Then you can go to the other end of the scale with The G hotel which is a little further out abd a lot more expensive. In the middle ground you have The Imperial, The Marriott, Great Southern, The Harbour and many others that you will find listed on the Discover Ireland web site!

We stayed in a Galway bed and breakfast called Sea breeze lodge and it was excellent in every way. The rooms , Breakfast and hospitality were the best during our 2 week stay in Europe. You can find them at : http://www.seabreezelodge.org
Trust me on this one ..

Galway is a wonderful palace with many nice things to do and see, there are lots of Hotels in the City Centre and Salthill which is part of Galway City. I would suggest that you look at the Galway Hotel Gude in order to select the right hotel that suits your needs. The www.Galwayhotelguide.com website has every hotel in Galway and sends people direct to the Hotels they select.
