They're right beside one another, this link should show you how to get from Shannon Airport to Shannon Town, you could walk it they're so close

Edit: sorry, the link is only showing you where Shannon Airport is but look at the map, Airport Road is highlighted in green, you follow it up and then right and it will take you to the centre of Shannon Town.

Right beside the town of Shannon. It's kind of hard to miss, what with all the big planes taking off and landing. And the roadsigns that say 'airport'. And the pictures of airplanes.
