Where is a good nightlife and scenery in Ireland?
(cont.)..taking a trip to Ireland with girlfriends..no tour guides just us with a rental. =O
i have to agree with both your other answers,
i think both dublin and galway are great for nightlife but dublin is way better in my opinion.
so id definately recommend dublin for nightlife
for sightseeing i think you should go to galway, your close to connemara, any amount of sightseeing to do there, you could trave to cliffs of moher, aillwee caves etc, all within an hour or so.
most of the west is very scenic really.

I would say Galway- It's got the nightlife- and young, student population- and the scenery! You'll feel very welcomed there and the city has managed to retain its Irishness- unlike Dublin.

it depends where your staying really, if you are coming to dublin i suggest that you stay near or if not close by the city center. if you do come to dublin go to the temple bar it is amazing for night life, the q bar zanzi bar they are all good spots. and for the sight seeing part the phoinex park it is the largest park in europe it has lots of things there like a zoo the presidents house the popes cross lots of monuments. you will love it

I'd have to say galway. the night life there is unreal. theres some great hostels in the town and the craic is ninety there the whole time. its a student town so practically every night is a party. you can drive into conemara or down to the burren and see some of the most spectacular landscapes in europe.
