Bella

Where is a good place to meet Irish men? (And don't say Ireland lol)?

I'm from North America and I went to Ireland for only a week, and OMG I had so much fun! The men their are so beautiful, intelligent, and confident (not in a degrading way like white American men). In my opinion, European men are so much better than American men, and the Irish are just so kind (at least those I've met).

Anyway, my friends and I plan on revisiting Ireland this summer for about two weeks, and we wish to meet a lot of new people. Does anyone know where we can meet Irish men? We've been to Temple bar and the Poterhouse, any others?

Why not come over for the Galway Races in July. You can have fun dressing up and mixing with the lads.

http://www.galwayraces.com/

Galway itself is a really nice touristy place where you can visit the Burren and the cliffs of Moher easily.

Sshhhh! It's Podge and Rodge

You didn't meet a cross-section, obviously. And you didn't live with them. I am Irish, and am not a fan of Irish men over the age of 30.

In a week you decided this? You really can't judge an entire group of people by a short vacation stay. I know plenty of Irish women who think the exact opposite of what you've stated.

Try the pubs, and good luck to you.

"The men their are so beautiful, intelligent, and confident "

Oh my that is funny. Your American men are grand. My flatmate was one.
He was a soundman.

Irish men are confident now. Hmm. they are the most unconfident men ever in comparison to other countries. Like wee girls. Sigh.
Us women have to carry them home half the time and tell them they are just as pretty as us.

Shure I'd say the best place to meet an Irish man is Killarney.
It is the scoring Pot of Ireland.
Great place to realise your frustrations if you are that way inclined.
Or a chat. You meet some nice ones back there.
Seriously. You could be dressed in an apron and smell of onions and they chat you up.

No offence guys.

Good luck

Shure let me know if you want a list of clubs, pubs and so fort via edit.

Edit:It was my friend from Chicago that wore the apron and smelled of onions.
She was a confident girl though and pretty. No problem reeling in the fish. I used to go without the apron, minus the onions also. Maybe I am classy after all lol?

"The men their are so beautiful, intelligent, and confident (not in a degrading way like white American men)." You haven't met many of them then i take it. Irish men are not everything you think.

Try dame street and georges street there are loads of clubs and bars in that area, it's just up from temple bar.
