the south west of ireland around kerry, mainly the ring of kerry.
or visit the Lovely city of Kilkenny- called the Marble city- this is one of my favourite towns in ireland- Kilkenny has a direct train from Dublin 4 or 5 times a day, and there a few coach that serve Kilkenny from Dublin Busaras (central bus station), perhaps i can say this as my father is from Co. Kilkenny.
but wherever you go in Ireland you will be greeted very warmly. i have brought friends over with me for a holiday, and there have gone back a few times with their families, and they all say the samething. how friendly the people of Ireland are

Sligo and Galway definitely. anywhere in the west of Ireland as long as you're near a big town and city cos if it rains and you're in the countryside then you can't do anything without getting wet....

For places less visited try Mayo, you can fly directly into Knock Airport, then move south to Galway, and Clare, 3 really beautiful parts of the country!!
